Festival 2017

State Festival will be Saturday, February 25, 2017, and will be held at the First Methodist Church in Benton, AR. Dr. Ron Hall has graciously agreed to host us in their lovely facility. There will be plenty of room, and easy access for unloading and loading bells, so plan now to bring your choirs. If you missed our workshops last summer where the music was introduced, you can find it all at the Jeffers “Handbell World” website, www.handbellworld.com. See below for this festival’s selections.

Several changes have been made to the normal Festival schedule, along with changes in the registration fees. To allow for a break in our usual rehearsal-packed day, we are including a lunch break of an hour and a half. As lunch is not included in the registration this year, you will have the option of bringing your own, going out to one of the local restaurants, or purchasing a boxed lunch when you register and staying at the church to shop the Jeffers store.

A new addition is the special event planned for handbell directors: Lunch with Tammy! You can bring your lunch or purchase a boxed lunch when you register, and plan to have an hour’s fellowship with Tammy. This will be an event for directors only where you can ask questions, talk about music, directing, composing, problems and solutions, along with getting to know your fellow directors. Lunchtime for everyone has been extended to an hour and a half, and Jeffers will be represented, so there will be time to browse their offerings too.

Here is the schedule for Festival!
