Lisa Hester -
Lisa Hester, a member of the Handbell Board since 2017, is the Organist and Accompanist at Village United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village. Prior to serving at Village UMC, she was Director of Music Ministries and Organist at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Little Rock where she directed the St. Paul Ringers, and in earlier days, she was active in the handbell program at her home church, Benton First United Methodist Church.
Receiving certification as a United Methodist Church Musician through the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church in 2019, Lisa has held other church musician positions in Benton, Bryant, and Little Rock, along with working in community music offerings such as the Saline County Royal Players’ production of “The Sound of Music,” “Godspell” and “Scrooge, the Musical,” for which she was the Music Director/Accompanist.
