Xtreme Ring! 2018
November 3
St. Paul United Methodist Church, 2223 Durwood Rd., Little Rock
Many of you already know that this year's Xtreme Ring! for students from 3rd through 8th grades will be Saturday, November 3rd. Dr. Andre Duvall, an advocate of the art of handbell ringing in Memphis and the Mid-South, will be our main clinician. Assisting Dr. Duvall with the younger children will be Linda Ball from the First United Methodist Church in Conway, AR. Their bios are below.
The music selected for this year's event is as follows.
For the beginners from Martha Lynn Thompson's reproducible book "Learn to Ring" (Handbell World MHP2689), "Away in a Manger" and "Come, Christians, Join to Sing." That piece has two versions in different keys, so we'll be using the 3 octave version.
For the more experienced children from David Weck's reproducible book "2-3 Octave Classics" (Hope Publishing, Item 2625), "O Come, All Ye Faithful" and "Ring Jubilee."
Scroll down to find links to the schedule and the registration form. Due to the T-shirt information required, you'll have to print the registration form and mail in with your check. Short turnaround time, but as we've seen in past years, it's difficult to get commitments until right before the deadline, so this time it should be easy!
