Scott Wilson is a native of Searcy, Arkansas. He studied at the University of Arkansas and has travelled the United States, Canada and Mexico while working as an Industrial Safety Consultant. Scott was also a frontline combat medic in the late 1980's/early 1990's for the Army National Guard in Arkansas, Missouri and Kansas. He is an active member of the FUMC handbell choir in Searcy. While a relative newcomer to the handbell world, Scott has an extensive background in percussion and music performance. He has been actively involved in organized music for over 35 years, and in the past twenty years, has served as the music director at Center Hill Baptist Church and Kensett First Baptist Church, both in the Searcy area.

Scott is married to his beautiful bride, Elizabeth, and has been blessed with two wonderful children, Emily and Jackson. He loves the outdoors and woodworking.
